Close-up of “Duality” highlighting the symmetrical interplay of steel, glass, and light.

Duality

Mira

Mira is an audiophile bar located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, with an industrial yet refined aesthetic. Its minimalist atmosphere highlights textures and the raw essence of materials, creating a space that feels both bare and deliberate. In response to this identity, an in-situ installation was conceived to transform the back of the counter into an immersive sensory landscape — a visual, spatio-temporal experience that generates effects of motion, reflection, and infinite depth.

'Paramount Ragtime' is a circular wall sculpture with a glowing tube and mirrored surfaces, creating infinite reflections with the minimalist space. Positioned next to a sleek, modern chair, the sculpture interacts with the room’s architecture.

Paramount Ragtime

« Paramount Ragtime » est une sculpture murale cylindrique qui explore la notion d’espace-temps. Réalisée à partir de matériaux bruts tels que l’acier et le verre réfléchissant, l’œuvre s’articule autour d’un tube lumineux central. Ce tube, reflété à l’infini par des miroirs disposés avec précision de part et d’autre, crée un effet de tunnel qui semble défier les limites physiques de l’espace.

X-light Mini

X-light mini is a sculptural lamp derived from the original X-light, which was showcased at the AXYZ exhibition. This more compact version continues the exploration of the concept of space-time while adopting a more accessible form.

The sculpture is composed of raw materials: a prefabricated concrete block as the base, two one-way mirror plates, and a LED neon tube. Its vertical silhouette is reminiscent of a totem. Initially perceived as a minimalist structure, it reveals, upon closer inspection, an infinite corridor of luminous tubes. This phenomenon is created by the multiple reflections of the mirrors, which capture and return the light from the neon, generating an illusion of infinite depth.

This visual effect relies on human perception. X-light mini plays with repetition and light to question our relationship with space-time. It blends tangible reality with subjective perception. The luminous object symbolizes the immobility of time through its physicality. However, its integration into a confined environment, surrounded by reflective surfaces, creates a sensation of spatial and temporal stretching. The viewer is immersed in an experience where the boundaries between real space and illusion blur.

In addition to its depth effect, the sculpture generates light and shadow play that unfolds all around it. The reflections of the luminous tubes create bands of light that intersect within the surrounding space. X-shaped patterns emerge, inspiring the title of the piece. X-light mini thus establishes a constant dialogue between space, time, and light, prompting the viewer to reconsider their perceptual habits.

Predilection

The artistic direction and overall concept rest on complete immersion in an industrial universe, immersing visitors in an atmosphere inspired by construction sites. Materials such as galvanized steel, precast concrete, and aluminum rails, carefully arranged, create a framework that is both raw and refined. These elements, with their neutral tones and raw textures, form a clean backdrop. The contrast between the brutality of the materials and the delicacy of the fabrics emphasizes the importance of texture and substance, revealing and magnifying each piece.

Equation Keyboard

This artwork titled « Equation Keyboard » is part of the CONTINUUM series, which explores the intricate concepts of space-time. Light plays a central role, allowing us to contemplate and measure both space and time within this piece and in the universe in general. Combined with reflective planes, it creates an effect of infinite depth that seems to follow the viewer’s vanishing point. Anchored by a raw concrete base, the glass panels and light tube add an ethereal and intangible quality, making the piece both bold and elegant.

Minimalist floor sculpture "Graduate Flatfoot" made of glass, steel, and a luminous tube creating an infinite perspective.

Graduate Flatfoot

Entitled « Graduate Flatfoot » from the « Continuum » series, this sculpture is a 100cm diameter floor piece, made of reflective glass, light, and steel, creating an infinite perspective that draws the eye towards the ground.

The sculpture features two stacked reflective glass discs. A vertical luminous cylinder runs through their center, illuminating diffusely the surrounding space and reflecting in the glass. This arrangement produces an optical illusion, extending space in depth and playing with our perception of distance and time. The reflections generate an infinite lighting space toward the ground evoking a sense of an endless continuum.

« Graduate Flatfoot » explores the concept of space-time relativity, prompting contemplation on the nature of perception and the concealed dimensions of reality. The use of architectural materials such as glass and steel, coupled with dynamic lighting, establishes a contemporary and minimalist aesthetic. Viewers are invited into an engaging visual experience that evolves with their movement around the sculpture.
